(6SS pool) - Badge of Ofiice, Justice Unleashed, Last Stance

Rusty Alyce
The Guilty
The Hanged
Jaakuna Ubume - Creeping Terror

Owen picked:: ALITS (announced) and Bodyguard (Ryle)
took: Vendetta (Drowned against Exorcist) and Bodyguard (Rusty)

After almost a month I had another chance to run Jack Daw. Big thanks to Owen for his patience when I was was thinking a lot what to do with my crew :D

Table setup

and crews deployment (Lady J was deploying first).

Turn 1

We moved forward towards the Squatter's markers however Jack's crew was more reluctant to do it as Lady J and Ryle would be really happy to put some pain on them. Rusty was Tormented by The Guilty (surprise, surprise! :D)
Jaakuna took opportunity and lured Death Marshall twice which allowed Rusty to gun him down almost immediately (the marker with the red gem on the top is what has left of the poor dude). Also I did set up a trap for Exorcist for the next turn.

Lady J used the push from Francisco (and also a buff for Df/Wp) and walked 3 times towards Jack's crew tarpiting a lot of models.

Upkeep phase - No VP scored by either side; Score after turn 1: Jack Daw 0 - Lady J 0

Turn 2

Lady J walked once and used her nasty pulse (Justice Unleashed) twice which clipped Jack, Hanged, Guilty, Hanged and Jaakuna. I had to burn my hand heavily to keep them alive...
Then Exorcist was killed by the combined effort of Rusty, The Guilty and Drowned (because I was short of the cards in my hand...) and the Drowned was the happy killer which granted me 3VP.
Hanged tried to snipe the Hound but lucky dog escaped unharmed.

Francisco and Ryle punished The Guilty and Drowned but they survived (barely) those attacks.
Nurse gave Lady J meds granting her Armour and negative flips for all duels which Jack used to 'grant' her two Cursed Upgrades.
Owen flipped two Squatter markers.

Upkeep phase - Jack Daw +3VP for Vendetta; Lady J +1VP Strategy; Score after turn 12: Jack Daw 3 - Lady J 1

Turn 3

Lady J moved and used Justice Unleashed twice but my flips deflected almost everything (with minor cheating the fate).
Francisco killed Drowned and Guilty.

Jack moved, attacked Death Marshal (Cursed Upgrade attached), pushed Marshal towards him and hit again leaving him on last wound. Rusty moved and triple shot Francisco who used loads of soulstones for damage prevention.
Jaakuna lured Death Marshal killing him with her hazardous terrain ability. Child tarpit Lady J and Hanged moved and cast Whispers from Beyond on Ryle who used soulstone to prevent 2 damage.

Upkeep phase - Lady J +1VP Strategy; Score after turn 3: Jack Daw 3 - Lady J 2

Turn 4

Ryle charged Hanged killing him.
Jack charged Hound which also engaged other Hound and Francisco. Two dogs were severely beaten but survived.
Then Jaakuna lured both dogs who died of hazardous terrain. Nurse pushed 3'' (Jack was nearby), gave Rusty meds granting her +2Wk and flipped Squatter marker herself. Rusty moved and flipped another Squatter marker.

Francisco tried to hit Jack but was really unsuccessful with those attacks.
Lady J used Penance to flip one of the Cursed Upgrades face down and killed Child.
We both declared Bodyguard.

Upkeep phase - Jack Daw +1VP Strategy, +1VP Bodyguard; Lady J +1VP Strategy, +1VP Boyguard; Score after turn 4: Jack Daw 5 - Lady J 4

Turn 5

Jaakuna lured Jack out of Francisco so he could remove enemy scheme marker for ALITS or push Nurse to do the same. If the Nurse were able to do that Jack would flip one of the Guild's Squatter marker.
Francisco moved and took defensive stance to protect scheme marker on the centre line. Jack obeyed Jaakuna to lure Francisco away but he deflected the attempt with 13 cheated from his hand while my highest card was 12.My nasty plan was ruined...
Anyway, Jack disengage from Francisco, walked twice and removed one of the scheme markers.
Ryle moved and dropped scheme marker at the centre line but at this moment Owen had only 3 markers for ALITS.
Rusty moved and shot Francisco. Lady J moved closer and used a Penance on second Cursed Upgrade.

The game has ended this turn.

Upkeep phase - Jack Daw +1VP Strategy, +2VP Bodyguard; Lady J +1VP Strategy, +2VP Boyguard, +1VP ALITS;

Final score: Jack Daw 8 - Lady J 8

Few notes after the game.
- as I predicted Rusty is a beast when run in Jack's crew. Her superior movement and shooting brings a lot to this crew
- Jaakuna was the MVP of the game. Her lure had a dramatic consequences for 4 enemy models. The Creeping Terror combines nicely with Rusty's 'no charge' aura.
- Drowned did nicely this time (same as Nurse) however next time I'll try probably Johana in his place.
- The Hanged thanks to my poor thinking hasn't achieved a lot but that was my fault, not his :D
- Child... Except sitting nearby Lady J and dying from her hands she didn't do anything this game. Still I think she might be interesting when borrowing Whispers from Beyond via Just Like You. And she is also a cheap activation.

Till the next time!
